Brand new, very small (please see size information below) Japanese feudal era rest house plastic model. This little house is just the type of place one might have found along the old Tokaido road which stretched between the cities of Kyoto and the capital of Edo (present day Tokyo). The little rest house features an open and inviting entryway with a large banner with the words oyasumi dokoro "rest place" welcoming visitors inside. Patrons to such an establishment would have enjoyed sweets and tea or possibly even a light meal while resting their legs from their weary journey.
